www.Traineo.com – Website Review
Traineo is a weight loss progress tracker. We’ve seen quite a few of these sites pop up lately and they are becoming quite popular. This review aims to tell you what Traineo is about, how you can use it and whether it’s really worth using. Let’s get started…
Food Inc. A documentary about the food industry
Now we may be fitness fanatics but this kind of thing affects us too! If achieving your fitness goals is 75% about food, then we should definitely be taking note of what we eat and how healthy it really is. Here’s the trailer:
Thanks to Fit Sugar for pointing out this one.
New Website Squeezeitin.com Let life be your workout!
Squeezeitin.com is a brand new website that aims to teach people how to turn every day activities into exercises for keeping fit.
Their slogan is, “Let life be your workout!”

Protein Vodka – Shaken not stirred.
Drew Adelman, a nightlife and dining aficionado and fitness buff, was searching for a way to marry his two passions. He decided that if he was going to go out at night and do the bad thing (drinking), that he’d do something to make it not as bad! (add protein)
The solution: Devotion Vodka. 80 proof, triple distilled vodka. He claims that it tastes smoother and doesn’t give you a hangover. Sounds good right, but what supplement category is it going to come under?
www.MyFitTribe.com Website Review
This review is of the website, My Fit Tribe – An Island of Fun Fitness and Friends.
What is this site about and how can it be of any use to you? That’s the question we’re going to answer from doing this review, so let’s get started.
www.Thatsfit.com is hosting a competition for Safe Side Towels
Matt Barker is the creator of the Safe Side Towel and he has a pretty scary story to go with it!
Matt claims he used to bring a towel to the gym and use it to wipe sweat off the benches but also wipe the sweat off his own face. Apparently one day this dangerous practice caught him a staph infection which ended up infecting his lungs and gave him pneumonia! Scary stuff.
After experiencing that he decided to make a towel that has two sides to it. The face side, and the gym side. One to wipe other people’s sweat and one to wipe off yours! Brilliant thinking if I do say so myself. (note: by “side”, I mean half the towel is dedicated to wiping your face and the other half to wiping the benches.)
Builders to design stair cases with fitness in mind
And so they should, because climbing stairs is one hell of a quick and easy workout!
Dr. Ishak A. Mansi of Louisiana State University claims that even a moderate increase in the use of stairs could play a role in helping to solve the nation’s weight problem.
Ishak and his research team want builders to consider making nicer stair cases with music, carpet and motivational posters to welcome more stair climbing fitness enthusiasts.
The Fit News absolutely supports this idea!
